Compensation Analyst
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to be our Compensation Analyst on a contract basis, and join our project team headquartered in Chicago, IL. This position is fully remote, but client site visits may be necessary once covid restrictions are lifted.

What you'll do:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Conduct analytical data work, job analysis work, and prepare recommendations using compensation techniques and methods

Collaborate with HR business partners and assigned functions in the creation and utilization of a consistent compensation program and job structure

Partnering with internal staff on ensuring compensation data and information is correct in the compensation system

Responsible to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, which include minimum wage, minimum threshold, EEO and AAP

Revise and update compensation policies and procedures

Ensure market competitiveness of client’s compensation plans through thorough job evaluations and ongoing compensation assessments

Support cost models and analyses for a variety of compensation programs
-
Provide consultative services and recommendations across business units

Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Education and Experience:
Required:
-
Must have a strong data analysis skills and passion for manipulating large sums of data via Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of appropriate federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Solid knowledge of compensation administration, legislation, and compliance.

Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of complicated tasks.

Effective communication skills both written and verbal.

Significant amount of organization and the ability to multi-task.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to find trends in large sets of compensation data.
Preferred:

Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance

Strong Excel skills with proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
