Benefits Analyst

We are currently seeking a motivated, adaptable and driven individual to join our growing team headquartered in Chicago, IL as an HR Generalist. This position is full-time and fully remote.

About the Role:

RJ Reliance is rapidly growing, and we are looking for a Benefits Analyst to help ensure that provides clerical assistance to the human resources department and performs clerical duties associated with the company's benefits program. 

What you'll do:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.

  • Performs data entry of benefits information; assures accuracy of entered data

  • Provides information to employees about benefit plans and options; answers questions regarding benefits policies and procedures

  • Coordinates day to day tracking and billing of employee benefit programs

  • Assists with the preparation of employees benefits booklets and other employee benefit communications

  • Provides clerical assistance with all company benefits programs included but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability and worker's compensation, 401 (k) and other pension plans

  • Assists the employees with completing benefit enrollment forms; assures all information is provided accurately and forms are completed 

  • Maintain organized files and records

  • General clerical duties such as, photocopying, filing, faxing. emailing and mailing 

  • Types and distributes internal and external correspondence as assigned

  • Answer, screens and direct incoming telephone calls as needed

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Required Experience:

  • 2 years related experience

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow

  • Ability to work effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels

  • Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures
